Canada-India R&D Collaboration
ISTPCanada develops and implements R&D collaboration programs under Science and Technology (S&T) cooperation agreements between Canada and its key trading partners, including India. Mandated by the Government of Canada through the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, and working together with Indian partners such as Global Innovation & Technology Alliance (GITA)/ Department of Science and Technology (DST), and the Department of Biotechnology, ISTPCanada:
- Stimulates early-stage partnership development activity;
- Facilitates the development of new collaborative R&D partnerships between Canadian companies, research organizations and their counterparts in India; and
- Invests in cooperative research projects with high commercial potential.
